Hemp is a regulated agricultural commodity. Handling it correctly is not a formality for us — it is the reason a manufacturer will eventually be able to put our material into a permitted building.
Meridian Industrial LLC is organized in the State of Texas and is in the pre-operational stage. We are assembling our application for the Texas industrial hemp credential applicable to our operation, and we are evaluating facility and equipment options.
We are not currently receiving, processing, storing, transporting or selling hemp biomass or hemp-derived material, and we will not do so until we hold the credentials required for the activity.
Verifiable credentials will be published here. As registrations and licenses are issued, their numbers will be listed on this page — Texas Secretary of State filing, Texas Comptroller taxpayer number, federal EIN, and our Texas hemp credential — so that customers, insurers and regulators can confirm them directly with the issuing agency.

Meridian Industrial LLC is being formed to process industrial hemp stalk into hurd, fiber and fines for construction and industrial applications only. We will not extract cannabinoids, and we will not manufacture, market or distribute consumable hemp products, smokable products, or anything intended for human or animal ingestion.
All biomass we accept will be industrial hemp as defined by federal law and Texas statute — Cannabis sativa L. containing no more than 0.3 percent delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol on a dry weight basis.
These are the procedures being written into our operating plan and submitted with our licensing materials.
Raw biomass will be purchased only from producers holding a current hemp license, with a copy of that license and the lot's compliance test results retained in our intake file.
Inbound loads will be checked against their accompanying documentation before offloading. Material without complete paperwork will be rejected.
Each inbound lot will receive a Meridian lot number carried through processing, grading, packaging and delivery, so any outbound load traces back to its origin.
Shipments will move with the bill of lading, lot documentation and applicable hemp transport certificate, so drivers and receivers can substantiate the load in transit.
Intake, processing, testing and shipping records will be retained and made available to regulators and to customers conducting supplier qualification.
Hemp dust is combustible. Dust collection, housekeeping and ignition control are being designed into the facility plan rather than added afterward.
