In Development

Meridian Industrial LLC is a Texas company in formation. We are preparing our application for a Texas industrial hemp license and are not yet processing or selling material.

Texas Industrial Hemp Processing

Building a Texas source for clean, graded hemp hurd.

Meridian Industrial LLC is being formed to process raw industrial hemp biomass into consistent, low-dust hurd and bast fiber — intended for hempcrete producers, bio-based panel and drywall manufacturers, and commercial construction suppliers. We are in the licensing and development stage and are opening early conversations now.

Our Focus

Decortication and grading, built for construction-grade output.

Industrial hemp stalk is roughly two materials in one: a woody inner core, and a long fibrous outer bast. Separating them cleanly — and then grading the core into tight, repeatable particle sizes — is what turns an agricultural byproduct into a construction input a manufacturer can actually build a spec sheet around.

That separation and grading is the business we are building. We will not grow hemp, and we will not manufacture finished building products. Meridian is designed to sit in between: sourcing raw baled biomass from licensed producers, and delivering clean, dedusted, size-graded material to the companies who make the finished goods.

Planned Process

From bale to graded material

The processing sequence our operation is being designed around, once licensed and commissioned.

  1. Intake & Verification

Inbound biomass will be received against the producer's license and lot documentation, weighed, moisture-checked, and assigned a Meridian lot number that follows the material through delivery.

  2. Decortication

Mechanical separation of the woody core (hurd) from the outer bast fiber, tuned to minimize fiber contamination in the hurd stream and hurd carryover in the fiber stream.

  3. Cleaning & Dedusting

Aspiration and screening to pull fines, leaf, dirt and residual dust out of the stream — the single biggest driver of binder performance in hempcrete and panel applications.

  4. Grading & Packaging

Material screened into defined particle-size grades, then packaged to the customer's handling format: bulk bags, compressed bales, or bulk trailer load.

Markets

Who we intend to supply

Hempcrete & Lime Binders

Cast-in-place and precast hemp-lime producers who need consistent particle size and low fines so binder demand and cure times stay predictable batch to batch.

Bio-Based Panels & Drywall

Manufacturers developing hemp-based wallboard, sheathing and interior panel products that require a clean, uniform core feedstock at production volume.

Insulation & Batt Products

Loose-fill and batt insulation producers drawing on graded hurd and bast fiber streams for thermal and acoustic applications.

Commercial Construction Supply

Distributors and specialty suppliers serving builders and architects who are specifying bio-based assemblies on commercial and multifamily projects.

Our Commitments

The material is only as good as the processing.

≤ 0.3%

Delta-9 THC

We will accept biomass only from licensed producers, documented as compliant industrial hemp under federal and Texas standards.

Non-Consumable

Construction Use Only

Meridian is being built to produce industrial feedstock for building materials. We will not manufacture, market or sell consumable hemp products of any kind.

Lot-Traced

Chain of Custody

Our procedures are designed so every outbound load ties back to an inbound lot, its source documentation, and its processing and grading record.
